Marketsmith Buys Back i.Predictus Stock – Total Ownership on Track for 2018

Cedar Knolls, NJ (February 9, 2017) – Marketsmith Inc., the nation’s fastest-growing, women-owned, data-driven integrated marketing agency, has repurchased 20 percent of i.Predictus stock from its original investment team, bringing its ownership of the marketing software company to 88 percent as of January 1, 2017.

 

“For a software company to buy the majority of its stock back from investors in under three years is virtually unheard of,” notes Marketsmith CEO Monica C. Smith. “Not only did we repay their initial investment, our investors received a return on their investment.”

 

Recently named to “The 100 most powerful people in New Jersey business” by NJBIZ Magazine, Smith is among a small minority of female entrepreneurs to raise millions of investment dollars in the technology space.   Her company has generated 12 percent year-over-year growth since 2012, and is on track to do the same in 2017. Smith notes that i.Predictus has double the margins of competing companies within the space.

 

Smith anticipates that the remaining 12 percent of company stock will be repurchased by the end of the year, giving parent company Marketsmith sole ownership of i.Predictus by 2018.
